What you will do
- Build and provide database Docker images to support development lifecycles.
- Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performance SQL code.
- Support database migration and re-architecting for production systems to handle business growth.
- Implement proactive monitoring to detect performance anomalies and query inefficiencies.
- Develop automation tools for database installation, upgrades, and deployment.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Must be available for a 6-month contract in Bangkok.
- Strong grasp of database design concepts, ER diagrams, and SQL.
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational database systems.
- Excellent English communication skills are mandatory.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
Nice to have
- Experience with database high availability and query performance tuning.
- Proficiency in Python and shell scripting (Powershell, Linux).
- Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes.
