What you will do

  • Analyze complex business processes to determine optimal product approaches for underwriters, brokers, and MGAs.
  • Lead discovery workshops and translate business requirements into clear, testable functional requirements and user stories.
  • Collaborate closely with UI/UX, Engineering, and QA teams to ensure requirements are implemented as intended.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, constructive feedback, and mentorship to junior business analysts.
  • Liaise with Product Owners to manage risks, track progress, and facilitate problem resolution.
  • Deliver targeted training for clients and colleagues on platform functionality and processes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the insurance industry.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid track record in requirements documentation and use-case development.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to tailor technical content for various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent workstreams in a cross-functional environment.
  • Must be based in or commute to the London office for hybrid work arrangements.
