What you will do

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of new security certifications to expand Databricks’ reach across global markets.
  • Act as a force multiplier by identifying and neutralizing project blockers to maintain high velocity in a cloud-native environment.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional decision-making on complex technical and compliance trade-offs.
  • Continuously refine project frameworks to maximize effectiveness and agility for security initiatives.
  • Masterfully oversee project lifecycles, including milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation, with executive-level transparency.
  • Forge deep, collaborative relationships with Security Assurance subject matter experts and technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in technical program/project management, specifically within the security domain at a fast-paced, cloud-native organization.
  • Demonstrated success in leading high-stakes security compliance initiatives (e.g., FedRAMP, PCI, HIPAA).
  • Experience navigating projects with intricate technical dependencies, multiple stakeholders, and geo-distributed teams.
  • Ability to influence and communicate effectively from deep-dive technical discussions to high-level briefings.
  • Proven track record of rapidly mastering new processes, methodologies, technologies, and security frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
