What you will do

  • Own and evolve the Flutter mobile platform, focusing on audio recording, chunked uploads, offline data handling, background syncing, cross-platform stability, and performance optimization.
  • Lead and maintain mobile CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Firebase, App Store/Play Store automation).
  • Collaborate with product, backend, and design teams to ship fast, reliable features.
  • Set engineering standards for code quality, testing, observability, and release readiness.
  • Guide long-term platform decisions regarding native integrations, state management, and persistence.
  • Mentor other engineers and take on light people management as the mobile team expands.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional mobile development experience, with 2+ years in Flutter.
  • Deep knowledge of mobile architecture, app lifecycle, audio capture, background services, and cross-platform specifics.
  • Experience shipping and managing production-grade apps at scale.
  • Familiarity with offline-first patterns, data syncing, and local persistence.
  • Ownership mindset and a strong bias for action.
  • Exposure to CI/CD automation, test coverage, and release management for mobile apps.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience with audio/video streaming, background tasks, or Bluetooth integrations.
  • Experience with mobile observability tools (Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry, Amplitude).
  • Understanding of HIPAA, SOC2, or mobile security best practices.
