What you will do
- Lead and support a chapter of developers, fostering growth, well-being, and technical excellence.
- Drive technical direction for .NET/C# backend services and RESTful APIs on Azure cloud.
- Contribute to backend and frontend code reviews and development, ensuring performance and security.
- Champion DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams and business stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver solutions.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid from Espoo or Turku, Finland.
- Hands-on experience with .NET/.NET Core, C#, RESTful API design, and Azure cloud services.
- Proficiency in modern web development with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Strong leadership experience leading or co-leading development teams.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Relevant university degree or equivalent experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Razor, SQL Server, Entity Framework, or NoSQL.
- Familiarity with GitHub workflows, pull requests, code reviews, and pair programming.
- Exposure to AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot.
