What you will do
- Take full ownership of and optimize GStreamer pipelines for video streaming on embedded devices.
- Build and optimize WebRTC, WebSockets, HTTP, RTSP, and RTP for rock-solid, low-latency streaming.
- Work hands-on with Embedded Linux (Yocto) to fine-tune throughput and system performance.
- Partner closely with hardware and firmware teams to ensure seamless multimedia integration.
- Help define and evolve the streaming architecture for scalability, modularity, and maintainability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with GStreamer in embedded environments.
- Solid background in real-time audio/video streaming and low-latency networking.
- Strong skills in Rust or C++ for performance-critical embedded applications.
- Deep familiarity with multimedia formats (MP4, H.264, AAC) and system-level streaming frameworks.
- Good understanding of Linux Embedded, Yocto, and system optimization.
- Comfortable collaborating with hardware and firmware engineers.
Nice to have
- Some exposure to AR/VR, AI-enabled devices, or machine learning pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile or other iterative delivery environments.
