What you will do
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to physical kiosks and Windows-based systems.
- Perform root cause analysis in collaboration with remote teams.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and system-level software testing.
- Validate new software releases prior to production deployment.
- Support customer site installations and field troubleshooting.
- Document issues clearly and provide structured feedback to Engineering and Product teams.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in QA, Operations, Field Engineering, or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and defect tracking processes.
- Experience working with Windows-based systems.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience with hardware/software integrated systems.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Willingness to travel 10–30% and work onsite at least 3 days per week.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Basic networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routers, switches).
- Experience supporting kiosks, POS systems, IoT, or similar physical equipment.
- Experience in analyzing system logs and using diagnostic tools.
- Experience in a fast-paced or startup environment.
