What you will do
- Lead hands-on management and configuration of the Google Apigee API Management platform.
- Design, build, and deploy secure API proxies, policies, and configurations.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for end-to-end API lifecycle management.
- Develop robust API security policies including OAuth, JWT, mTLS, and rate limiting.
- Automate API operations and infrastructure workflows using Python scripting.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on containerized deployments within GKE environments.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience managing the Google Apigee platform.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation.
- Demonstrated experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Harness.
- Deep understanding of API security standards and policy-as-code principles.
- Knowledge of Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and cloud-native architecture.
- Must be able to work on-site in Manchester, UK for 2-3 days per week.

- GCP Certification (Apigee Certified API Engineer).
