What you will do
- Advise DoD Components on CES recruitment and staffing procedural and regulatory requirements.
- Support CES stakeholders throughout staffing processes with tailored guidance.
- Review and verify CES personnel actions using automated HR tools in compliance with regulations.
- Evaluate requests for special salary rates, bonuses, and incentives.
- Develop and revise CES staffing policies and guidance documents.
- Coordinate workforce management initiatives and assist government leadership communications.
Requirements
- Active Secret Security Clearance required
- PhD with 20 years or Master’s with 28 years of relevant experience
- Extensive experience in federal HR, recruitment, staffing, or workforce policy related to CES or similar systems
- Strong expertise in analyzing complex HR policies and automated HR tools
Nice to have
- 7+ years federal HR experience within DoD with deep CES knowledge
- Expertise in Title 5, Title 10, and DoD personnel policies
- Exceptional communication skills for representing DoD CIO positions
- Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and advanced MS Office skills
- Experience supporting IT or cyberspace activities in military or defense agencies
