What you will do

  • Oversee day-to-day implementation of youth program activities, including vocational and digital training.
  • Manage and provide technical support to the youth staff team in the area office.
  • Coordinate with the Youth PDM and Digital Officer to define and operate the Youth Hub model.
  • Ensure project activities remain within budget and adhere to donor guidelines and NRC policies.
  • Maintain feedback mechanisms and communicate directly with project beneficiaries.
  • Collect and analyze data to contribute to project monitoring, evaluation, and future strategy development.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical and/or operational youth program management.
  • Previous work experience in complex and volatile environments.
  • Fluency in written and spoken Portuguese is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of local languages spoken in Cabo Delgado, particularly in Mocímboa da Praia district.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 tools and collaborative platforms like SharePoint or Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively under tight deadlines.
