What you will do
- Automate and orchestrate workloads across on-prem infrastructure.
- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to foster a DevOps culture and modernize release strategies.
- Lead and participate in architectural discussions to build robust system foundations.
- Capture and share industry-standard best practices across the engineering department.
Requirements
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Golang or Python.
- Hands-on experience with the full software development lifecycle.
- Understanding of VM and container virtualization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Practical experience with Agile practices including XP, Scrum, and TDD.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and their practical application.
Nice to have
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with Service Mesh and Service Discovery tools like Istio, Linkerd, Consul, or Envoy.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
