What you will do
- Define and execute the LATAM technology strategy for the LATAM Business and Global Payments.
- Oversee architecture, development, and deployment of merchant acquiring platforms.
- Lead and grow a high-performing regional engineering team.
- Partner with LATAM business leads, risk, compliance, and operations to deliver integrated solutions.
- Ensure compliance with regional payment regulations, data privacy laws, and security standards.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in technology leadership roles, with deep expertise in payment processing and merchant acquiring.
- Proven success leading large-scale platforms in LATAM or similar emerging markets.
- Strong understanding of payment networks, acquiring banks, interchange, and settlement flows.
- Experience with regulatory frameworks across LATAM (e.g., Chile’s CMF, Mexico’s SPEI).
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
