What you will do

  • Design, implement, and maintain complex MongoDB, EDB PostgreSQL, and YugabyteDB database environments.
  • Develop automation solutions using Python to streamline database builds and reduce manual operational tasks.
  • Lead data modeling, integration, and capacity planning initiatives for large-scale enterprise systems.
  • Create and maintain high availability, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Design security controls aligned with CIS benchmarks and support compliance auditing.
  • Provide technical leadership on database architecture and influence strategic platform decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of database operations experience.
  • Strong technical expertise with MongoDB, EDB PostgreSQL, and YugabyteDB.
  • Demonstrated experience in Python scripting or automation development for database support.
  • Proven ability designing high availability, clustering, and replication configurations.
  • Deep understanding of performance optimization and scalability within large-scale database environments.
  • Must be able to commute to the office in Phoenix, AZ 3 days per week.
