What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain complex MongoDB, EDB PostgreSQL, and YugabyteDB database environments.
- Develop automation solutions using Python to streamline database builds and reduce manual operational tasks.
- Lead data modeling, integration, and capacity planning initiatives for large-scale enterprise systems.
- Create and maintain high availability, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Design security controls aligned with CIS benchmarks and support compliance auditing.
- Provide technical leadership on database architecture and influence strategic platform decisions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of database operations experience.
- Strong technical expertise with MongoDB, EDB PostgreSQL, and YugabyteDB.
- Demonstrated experience in Python scripting or automation development for database support.
- Proven ability designing high availability, clustering, and replication configurations.
- Deep understanding of performance optimization and scalability within large-scale database environments.
- Must be able to commute to the office in Phoenix, AZ 3 days per week.
