What you will do

  • Architect and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure using automation-first methodologies.
  • Manage complex infrastructure environments using Terraform with a focus on drift detection and modularity.
  • Deploy and maintain high-availability applications within Amazon EKS and Kubernetes clusters.
  • Optimize end-to-end CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery and ensure code integrity.
  • Implement comprehensive observability through centralized logging, monitoring, and proactive alerting.
  • Collaborate with security teams to integrate automated scanning and least-privilege policies into deployment cycles.

Requirements

  • Fluent English (spoken/written) and Czech or Slovak are mandatory.
  • Must have existing work authorization for Czechia as no visa support is provided.
  • Deep hands-on experience with AWS core services (EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, RDS, Lambda).
  • Strong proficiency in Terraform and experience managing Kubernetes (EKS) clusters.
  • Strong background in automation scripting using Python, Go, or Bash.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.

Nice to have

  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or DevOps Engineer (Professional).
  • Experience with GitOps methodologies using ArgoCD or Flux.
  • Deep understanding of SRE principles including SLIs/SLOs and toil reduction.
  • Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or AWS App Mesh.
