What you will do
- Design and implement tools, frameworks, and processes to enhance developer productivity and streamline the software development lifecycle
- Integrate AI into existing processes to increase speed and agility
- Architect modular, maintainable services breaking down monolithic systems
- Define and track metrics to improve engineering efficiency and developer experience
- Build consensus on engineering standards and best practices company-wide
- Mentor engineers on software architecture, system design, and development best practices
Requirements
- Must have 10+ years of software engineering experience with high-scale, fault-tolerant systems
- Experience improving CI/CD pipelines and testing frameworks
- Proven track record creating development frameworks adopted by multiple teams
- Strong expertise in service-oriented architecture and microservices design
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts
- Location: Must be based in Spain for 100% remote-friendly role or hybrid in Barcelona
