What you will do

  • Assist in exploratory data analysis to uncover product usage patterns, trends, or anomalies.
  • Prepare datasets using Python and SQL for modeling, reporting, or dashboarding.
  • Support the development and evaluation of machine learning models.
  • Run A/B test analyses and help summarize experimental outcomes.
  • Build and update dashboards and notebooks to present findings.
  • Maintain project tracking tools and contribute to internal data science playbooks.

Requirements

  • Must be a 1st year Masters Data Science student or a fourth year undergrad student enrolled in a co-op program.
  • Focus on data science, statistics, or machine learning.
  • Available for an 8-month co-op term (May to December).
  • Based in Toronto, Vancouver, or Calgary
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data exploration, analysis, and basic modeling.
  • Comfortable using data notebooks and version control tools.
