What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and develop a sales team of approximately 30 individuals including frontline managers in the Velocity Sales (West) segment.
- Develop and execute sales strategy aligned with company objectives and maximize market penetration in the West region.
- Drive outbound sales efforts and collaborate with Marketing, BDR, and SDR teams to optimize lead generation and pipeline growth.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize sales processes, team performance, and provide coaching and development plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, BDR/SDR, and Customer Success teams to ensure unified customer journey and revenue growth.
- Set and monitor KPIs, provide regular performance reporting, and support talent development and retention.
Requirements
- Must have 8+ years of sales leadership experience including 3+ years managing frontline managers in SMB or SaaS environments
- Proven success scaling SMB sales teams and driving revenue growth in high-growth organizations
- Strong operational and data-driven focus to optimize team performance and sales efficiency
- Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and BDR/SDR teams
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work effectively with remote and hybrid teams
