What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, highly-available backend services.
  • Integrate these services into a larger event-based architecture & ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with Product and UX teams to design & build customer-facing features.
  • Apply a testing-first approach to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Actively participate in code reviews and mentor other team members.
  • Continuously improve a running production system without downtime.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience, preferably including backend work.
  • Experience building software in at least one programming language.
  • Experience writing robust and performant services and with REST APIs.
  • Effective communicator, capable of articulating complex ideas with clarity and actively listening to understand others. Can communicate fluently in English.
  • Able to work with many teams across the org to get things done.
  • Self-motivated and driven with pride of ownership.
