What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, highly-available backend services.
- Integrate these services into a larger event-based architecture & ecosystem.
- Collaborate with Product and UX teams to design & build customer-facing features.
- Apply a testing-first approach to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Actively participate in code reviews and mentor other team members.
- Continuously improve a running production system without downtime.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience, preferably including backend work.
- Experience building software in at least one programming language.
- Experience writing robust and performant services and with REST APIs.
- Effective communicator, capable of articulating complex ideas with clarity and actively listening to understand others. Can communicate fluently in English.
- Able to work with many teams across the org to get things done.
