What you will do
- Manage a team of 5 to 7 data scientists and machine learning engineers.
- Translate product requirements into machine learning problems and identify AI business impact areas.
- Analyze data, perform exploratory data analysis and feature engineering.
- Implement best practices in model selection, tuning, and optimization.
- Manage full AI feature lifecycle from data collection to production deployment.
- Mentor junior team members and guide through complex projects.
Requirements
- Fluency in English (oral and written) required.
- Must have previous experience as a people manager.
- Expert knowledge of machine learning algorithms and theoretical foundations.
- Extensive hands-on experience delivering ML models to production and developing MLOps solutions.
- Proficiency in Python machine learning ecosystem and solid software engineering skills.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and analytical thinking skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Big Data tools (Spark/PySpark) and cloud environments (Azure/Databricks).
- Experience in pricing optimization and forecasting.
- Previous experience in the betting industry.
