What you will do

  • Investigate reported security issues and analyse their scale, severity, and impact on end-users.
  • Analyse user event data to identify abuse patterns and produce security metrics.
  • Support security incident investigations and mitigation activities across the product ecosystem.
  • Contribute to detection engineering by automating recurring investigation patterns into repeatable workflows.
  • Identify data quality gaps and improve security logging and visibility.
  • Assess the business impact of security issues and communicate findings to product teams and key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated interest and passion for cybersecurity.
  • Professional experience with data analysis tools (Jupyter Notebook, Python – NumPy, Pandas, or R).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess threats, identify root causes, and drive security improvements.
  • Degree in cybersecurity, natural sciences, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience in incident response, including log analysis and mitigation strategies.
