What you will do
- Define and lead the SVF risk strategy for the MENA region in alignment with group frameworks.
- Own the Enterprise Risk Management Framework, including risk appetite statements, policies, and committee governance.
- Lead regulatory engagement with the CBUAE and manage regulatory submissions and remediations.
- Provide independent oversight of safeguarding arrangements, client funds, settlement exposures, and liquidity risk.
- Conduct risk sign-off for new products and material changes, ensuring residual risk remains within appetite.
- Oversee operational risk, including payments, fraud, incident management, and third-party risk.
Requirements
- Education: University degree required.
- Experience: 8+ years in risk management within regulated financial services.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of CBUAE expectations for SVF and payment activities.
- Experience: Prior regulatory approval in the UAE is a strong advantage.
- Skills: Proven experience running a second line risk function with clear independence.
- Skills: Deep technical knowledge in operational, technology, cyber, and liquidity risk.

- Professional risk qualifications such as FRM, PRM, or CFA.
