What you will do

  • Supervise the daily Lombard loan book to ensure policy compliance and identify emerging risks.
  • Conduct credit-worthiness assessments and analyze collateral risks for new lending requests.
  • Challenge first-line lending decisions using independent, data-driven insights.
  • Manage credit risk capital requirements, including counterparty risk and Expected Credit Loss (ECL) calculations.
  • Develop and enhance credit monitoring tools and methodology for pledge-rate assessments.
  • Prepare risk analysis reports for management and internal committees.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field
  • 5+ years of banking experience in Luxembourg or the EU
  • In-depth knowledge of CRR, credit risk, IFRS9, and EBA guidelines
  • Proven ability to provide independent risk oversight at a senior level
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Bloomberg Terminal
  • Fluent in English; French is considered a plus
