What you will do
- Supervise the daily Lombard loan book to ensure policy compliance and identify emerging risks.
- Conduct credit-worthiness assessments and analyze collateral risks for new lending requests.
- Challenge first-line lending decisions using independent, data-driven insights.
- Manage credit risk capital requirements, including counterparty risk and Expected Credit Loss (ECL) calculations.
- Develop and enhance credit monitoring tools and methodology for pledge-rate assessments.
- Prepare risk analysis reports for management and internal committees.
Requirements
- University degree in Business, Economics, Finance or related field
- 5+ years of banking experience in Luxembourg or the EU
- In-depth knowledge of CRR, credit risk, IFRS9, and EBA guidelines
- Proven ability to provide independent risk oversight at a senior level
- Proficiency in MS Office and Bloomberg Terminal
- Fluent in English; French is considered a plus
