What you will do

  • Drive new Lakebase revenue by identifying and closing opportunities within a defined territory.
  • Articulate the value of managed Postgres for intelligent applications to platform teams, developers, and data leadership.
  • Lead complex, multi-threaded sales cycles from initial discovery to commercial negotiation and closing.
  • Orchestrate proof-of-value and POCs in partnership with solution architects to validate technical benefits.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and partner teams to refine territory plans and sales plays.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, enabling the broader sales field on Lakebase best practices and messaging.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with a track record of exceeding quotas.
  • Proven success selling data platforms, operational databases, or adjacent data/AI infrastructure.
  • Ability to sell to both technical buyers and business stakeholders.
  • Strong value selling skills with the ability to quantify business outcomes.
  • Executive presence and experience leading C-level strategic conversations.
  • Deep understanding of modern data and cloud-native application architectures.
