What you will do
- Define and drive the roadmap for the notification platform, including triggers, personalization, and decisioning engines.
- Partner with backend and data teams to deliver effective content across push, email, SMS, and in-app channels.
- Communicate experimental roadmaps and results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Manage product specifications and lead development for backend-focused notification features.
- Analyze campaign performance using quantitative and qualitative data to identify growth opportunities.
- Make data-informed trade-offs regarding scope, quality, and speed.
Requirements
- 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in a consumer tech or mobile-first environment.
- Direct experience working with backend teams on notifications, platform development, or personalization.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using SQL for data analysis and dashboard evaluation.
- Ability to translate complex user behavior and psychology into actionable product strategy.
- Clear communication skills and proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Must be based in or able to work from Los Angeles, California.
Nice to have
- Experience working with ML engineers on propensity models for recommendations.
- Background in managing cross-channel content strategy and A/B testing for notifications.
- Experience in mobile gaming or two-sided marketplaces.
