What you will do
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize SQL and NoSQL queries across MariaDB, Postgres, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, and InfluxDB.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address database needs and performance challenges.
- Conduct system analysis to identify performance bottlenecks and implement effective technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for query optimization, issue resolution, and system design.
- Participate in team on-call rotations to ensure system reliability.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a database developer, database administrator, or in a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in both SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in Python and .NET.
- Must be an EU/EFTA citizen, holder of a valid Cyprus work permit, or a foreign national married to an EU citizen.
- Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills.
