What you will do
- Manage government relationships and secure approvals to support program expansion and compliance.
- Lead policy engagement and track national developments relevant to social protection and related sectors.
- Support fundraising efforts and develop partnerships with NGOs and UN agencies.
- Oversee external representation, media engagement, and manage communications with stakeholders.
- Lead and coach the Content Associate Field Manager to amplify recipient voices and evidence impact.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in Nairobi, Kenya.
- 4-6 years experience in development sector with expertise in social protection, climate resilience, or related fields.
- Experience in policy engagement, government partnerships, and resource mobilization with major donors.
- Professional fluency in English and Swahili.
- Ability to travel ~30% within Kenya and occasionally internationally.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills with high autonomy.
