Location: Phoenix, AZ. This position requires working onsite five days a week.

What you will do

  • Research, design, and validate analytical methodologies for performance tools.
  • Develop performance frameworks, metrics, and models for reliable decision-making.
  • Translate ambiguous business problems into structured analytical approaches.
  • Partner with teams and stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure methodologies are effective.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support initiatives with data analysis, modeling, and methodological guidance.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in applied math, statistics, data analysis, and analytical modeling.
  • Experience designing metrics, KPIs, and performance frameworks.
  • Structured, analytical mindset with coding, analysis, validation, technical documentation, and methodology design skills.
  • Ability to explain complex analytical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable influencing decisions through data and logic and working in global, cross-functional environments.
  • Curiosity-driven, methodical, and focused on learning, iteration, and long-term impact.

Nice to have

  • Degree in Math, Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in mining operations and MineStar technology.
