TL;DR

Virtual / Executive Assistant (AI): Supporting business owners and teams by taking ownership of essential administrative, operational, and strategic tasks to improve efficiency and growth with an accent on organization, proactive problem-solving, and utilizing new tools. Location: Fully Remote, must be based in Guatemala. Schedule is typically Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM U.S. Pacific to Eastern Time, with some Saturdays possible.

Salary: GTQ7,500 – GTQ12,000 per month (performance bonuses or commissions may apply).

What you will do

  • Manage inboxes, calendars, and coordinate meetings, appointments, and reminders.
  • Provide customer support via email, chat, phone, or ticketing systems.
  • Assist with social media management, content creation, and publishing on various platforms.
  • Conduct market and competitor research, provide insights, and support business planning or strategy projects.
  • Offer personal assistance to founders and executives for non-business tasks, and light technical support for tools and systems.
  • Support sales and business development with lead generation, outreach, and CRM management.
  • Assist Human Resources with drafting job descriptions, screening resumes, and maintaining employee records.
  • Support finance and bookkeeping operations by creating invoices, tracking expenses, and maintaining financial records.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in administrative, operational, or executive assistant roles.
  • Excellent English communication skills (C1–C2 level, written and spoken).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable learning new tools (e.g., AI) and familiar with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.
  • Experience with traditional digital tools like Slack, Canva, Asana, CRMs, and scheduling apps.
  • Must have own webcam, microphone, computer, and reliable internet (100 Mbps or more).
  • Access to a quiet work area at home.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting U.S. or Canadian clients or prior work in remote, digital-first teams.
  • Familiarity with tools like Notion, ClickUp, HubSpot, or Zapier.
