Workplace Mental Health Consultant: Delivering solution-focused mental health consultations and support to employees and leaders, with an accent on onsite customer location support and critical incident response. Location: Hybrid, mainly onsite at the customer location in Toronto at Pearson airport for 8 hours a month (two shifts of 4 hours). Must have an unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in Canada (Ontario).

What you will do

  • Provide consultation and support to managers, people teams, and members, enhancing employee wellbeing and workplace effectiveness.
  • Deliver solution-focused employee mental health consultation and connect to appropriate resources.
  • Coordinate and deliver critical incident response.
  • Conduct company-tailored trainings and Spring Health benefit promotion events.
  • Assess for risk, manage member and organizational crises by providing in-the-moment support, triage, safety planning, and follow up.
  • Collaborate with customer points of contact to successfully deliver targeted interventions based on data.

Requirements

  • Unrestricted license to practice psychotherapy in Canada (Ontario).
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience with at least 1 year as an independently licensed clinician.
  • Training and experience in delivering management consultation, critical incident response, and training presentations.
  • Comfortable with technology and telehealth competent.
  • Training and experience in evidence-based modalities of care, including short-term, solution-focused therapy.
  • Comfortable with providing safety planning and intervention during situations where a client might present with higher risks.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge or experience in working with airline employees.
  • Being bilingual in English and French.
