Location: Must be able to work remotely from the United Kingdom or Ireland or in a hybrid setup. Requires the ability to work core hours of 7:00 am - 3:00 pm GMT and rotational weekend work.

What you will do
- Serve as an expert on Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and Russian geopolitical developments to improve AI models.
- Monitor and analyze the quality of data feeds.
- Annotate and label complex real-time events, making decisions with incomplete data.
- Own and develop projects to improve the performance of AI models and tooling in real-time event detection.
- Collaborate and communicate daily priorities within a team-centric environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, ideally with a concentration in Political Science, Russian language studies, Eastern Europe studies, or security/conflict studies.
- Ability to monitor and analyze data with strong online research skills in Russian and English.
- An understanding of geopolitical risk and world events.
- Passion for breaking news, current world events, and technology, with a great understanding of social media and publicly-available data.
- Ability to interpret and succinctly describe ongoing, complex events with incomplete data.
- Fluency with AI tools and LLMs, and experience using them to solve problems, improve workflows, and make efficiencies.
