What you will do

  • Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure for high availability, performance, and developer efficiency.
  • Scale the platform to support millions of users.
  • Drive observability, monitoring, alerting, and reduce operational toil through automation and smart tooling.
  • Improve security and observability posture.
  • Contribute to on-call rotation and own KTLO (keep-the-lights-on) work for system health and performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and play a key role in strategic technical decisions, including architecture and tooling.

Requirements

  • Solid Infrastructure, Cloud, and DevOps engineering experience, with a focus on scaling complex platforms to many users.
  • Application development with Node.js.
  • Strong grasp of CI/CD pipelines and build processes.
  • Experience with observability, monitoring, and performance tuning.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, and one or more major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Proficiency with TypeScript or JavaScript.

Nice to have

  • Ability to function as a tech lead for the team.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, security, and cloud-native architecture.
  • Experience in a scrappy startup, small high-trust teams, or entrepreneurial background.
  • Azure experience.
