What you will do
- Oversee the General Ledger and ensure compliance with US GAAP/IFRS standards.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including complex journal entries.
- Perform bank, intercompany, accrual, and fixed asset reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Support external audit processes and ensure adherence to local statutory and tax requirements.
- Identify and implement accounting workflow improvements and automation initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or technical financial reporting roles.
- Solid working knowledge of US GAAP or IFRS.
- Proficiency in major ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, modeling).
- CPA or CA certification (or in the process of obtaining one).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Nice to have
- Experience in Big 4 public accounting firms.
- Hands-on experience specifically with Oracle NetSuite.
