What you will do

  • Support new product development in sugar, chocolate, and baked goods sectors focusing on fruit preparation.
  • Conduct laboratory-scale tests and assist in scaling up processes in pilot plants.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and organize sourcing of raw materials.
  • Collaborate with product developers and participate in meetings and pilot plant activities.
  • Take ownership of hands-on lab work including cooking fruit preparations and conducting flavor and color trials.

Requirements

  • Completed training as confectioner, confectionery technologist, chef, baker, or similar.
  • Relevant experience in food product development preferred.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Awareness of quality, hygiene, and manual skills in the field.
  • Ability to work independently and meticulously while collaborating with others.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
