What you will do

  • Deploy, manage, and support Azure resources including virtual machines, storage, networking, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Serve as escalation point for complex Azure infrastructure issues and troubleshoot networking components.
  • Ensure Azure environments follow best practices for security, performance, and reliability.
  • Participate in peer reviews of Infrastructure as Code modules and execute Azure project tasks from planning to implementation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and communicate with clients regarding project status and technical issues.
  • Provide guidance to Technical Operations Center engineers to improve troubleshooting and cloud knowledge.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in Houston, Texas for onsite work
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent experience; AZ-104 certification preferred.
  • 3+ years in IT Administration, Systems Engineering, or Cloud Operations.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, backup and disaster recovery.
  • Strong Azure platform knowledge including compute, storage, networking, identity, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Infrastructure as Code.
