What you will do

  • Oversee global payroll operations ensuring 100% accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
  • Lead SOX-compliant internal controls, governance frameworks, and audit readiness activities.
  • Manage end-to-end quarter-end and year-end processes, including tax reporting and W-2 delivery.
  • Collaborate with Finance, People Ops, and Legal to streamline payroll workflows and data integration.
  • Drive strategic initiatives including system upgrades, workflow automation, and international expansion.
  • Mentor and lead a high-performing team of payroll specialists.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of payroll management experience with at least 5 years in a global leadership role.
  • Strong proficiency with Workday Payroll software (3+ years required).
  • Expertise in US multi-state tax regulations and labor laws.
  • Experience with international payroll practices in Canada, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid model from one of the designated US hubs.
  • Strong command of SOX controls and IPO readiness environments.
