What you will do
- Design, maintain, and expand cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaaC).
- Oversee systems and resources for alerting, logging, backups, disaster recovery, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with other software engineering teams to build fault-tolerant and resilient services.
- Improve the performance and durability of CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure security is considered throughout the engineering process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant experience.
- Ability to design and implement highly automated and holistic solutions.
- Act as a tech lead for the team and drive projects by example.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, maintaining or deploying production application infrastructure.
- Significant experience with distributed systems and Kubernetes deployments.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, Helm, and ArgoCD.
- Strong grasp of Infrastructure as Code (IaaC), preferably using Terraform or Crossplane.
- Scripting knowledge in Python, Ruby, or Bash.
- Strong automation mindset and experience using APIs to automate administrative tasks.
- English: B2 required
- Location: Must be able to work from Mexico
Nice to have
- Experience hosting/supporting the Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk or Grafana.
