What you will do

  • Design, maintain, and expand cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaaC).
  • Oversee systems and resources for alerting, logging, backups, disaster recovery, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with other software engineering teams to build fault-tolerant and resilient services.
  • Improve the performance and durability of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure security is considered throughout the engineering process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant experience.
  • Ability to design and implement highly automated and holistic solutions.
  • Act as a tech lead for the team and drive projects by example.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, maintaining or deploying production application infrastructure.
  • Significant experience with distributed systems and Kubernetes deployments.
  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, Helm, and ArgoCD.
  • Strong grasp of Infrastructure as Code (IaaC), preferably using Terraform or Crossplane.
  • Scripting knowledge in Python, Ruby, or Bash.
  • Strong automation mindset and experience using APIs to automate administrative tasks.
  • English: B2 required
  • Location: Must be able to work from Mexico

Nice to have

  • Experience hosting/supporting the Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket).
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools like Splunk or Grafana.
