We are looking for an Influencer & Social Specialist to own and grow our ambassador and creator program while also supporting social engagement and customer experience.

This is a hybrid role with a strong focus on influencer / ambassador program management, combined with social media engagement, community building, and customer support. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable identifying and building relationships with creators as they are engaging with customers and communities across Instagram and TikTok.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who brings both execution and strategic thinking. We are not looking for someone who only completes assigned tasks. We want someone who contributes ideas, improves systems, and helps shape the function as it grows.

This role is especially well suited to someone with experience in DTC wellness, herbal medicine, beauty, health, or Traditional Chinese Medicine-related brands.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and build your own lists of influencers, creators, and ambassadors in the wellness niche
  • Lead outreach with a quality-over-quantity approach focused on fit, conversion, and long-term relationship value
  • Manage the ambassador pipeline end-to-end, from sourcing and outreach to onboarding and ongoing relationship management
  • Track outreach performance and optimize for conversion into active ambassadors
  • Build authentic relationships with creators and identify strong long-term brand partners
  • Suggest campaign, collaboration, and activation ideas — not just execute pre-defined tasks
  • Help shape and improve the influencer program as the sole owner of this function
  • Monitor and engage with the brand’s community across Instagram and TikTok
  • Respond to comments, DMs, and community interactions in a timely, thoughtful, and brand-aligned way
  • Practice active social listening to identify opportunities, sentiment, and trends
  • Write authentic, non-generic responses that strengthen brand trust and connection
  • Stay current on social trends, especially on TikTok and Instagram, and apply them appropriately
  • Support customer inquiries across email, chat, and social channels
  • Handle tickets clearly and empathetically while following SOPs and escalation processes
  • Work within CX tools and internal systems to ensure customers receive timely support
  • Help bridge insights from customer conversations back into community and influencer strategy

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in influencer marketing, ambassador programs, social media engagement, and/or community management
  • Experience working with DTC e-commerce brands, preferably in wellness, with beauty or health also considered
  • Hands-on experience sourcing influencers and managing creator relationships end-to-end
  • Experience responding directly to Instagram comments, TikTok comments, DMs, and community interactions
  • Experience in customer support, including email, chat, or social-based support tickets
  • Strong understanding of how outreach performance connects to conversion and overall program outcomes
  • Experience in wellness, herbal medicine, hormone health, or Traditional Chinese Medicine (nice to have)
  • Background in beauty or health brands with transferable DTC experience (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with customer and e-commerce workflows in a fast-moving online brand environment (nice to have)

What this role is NOT:

  • Not just an Influencer Outreach role
    This is not about sending mass messages to hundreds of creators. We are looking for someone who values quality, conversion, and relationship-building over volume.
  • Not a Community Manager-only role
    Social engagement is important, but this person also owns influencer sourcing, outreach, onboarding, and program management.
  • Not a content creation role
    You will not be responsible for designing posts or acting as the brand’s content creator. Your focus is on creator management, engagement, and curation.
  • Not suitable for beginners or purely academic profiles
    We need someone with real, hands-on experience in influencer marketing and social engagement.
