TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (Java, Cloud): Designing and developing large-scale, AWS-based microservices for the global NiCE CXone cloud platform with an accent on scalability, high-quality service development, and full feature lifecycle participation. Focus on applying agile methodologies with AI tools for efficient delivery and iterating on architecture with the team.

Location: NiCE-FLEX hybrid model, which enables maximum flexibility: 2 days working from the office and 3 days of remote work, each week, in Israel - Raanana.

What you will do

  • Design and implement scalable microservices using AWS technologies.
  • Develop high-quality services in a Java Spring Boot environment.
  • Participate in the full feature lifecycle from design to implementation.
  • Analyze requirements and create comprehensive design documentation.
  • Review and refine designs with peers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the team on architecture and features, applying agile methodologies with AI tools.

Requirements

  • BSc in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3+ years in cloud development or 3+ years in Java.
  • Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs in Java.
  • Strong software design, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

  • Experience building distributed, production-grade systems at scale.
  • Hands-on development experience with AWS services.
  • Strong background in Spring / Spring Boot.
  • Experience developing with AI-powered coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude code).
