What you will do
- Develop Databricks notebooks and visualizations to automate daily comparisons between existing and new data streams.
- Investigate and identify root causes for missing data and volume discrepancies across complex data platforms.
- Manage the end-to-end data quality issue lifecycle, from reporting to tracking and verifying fixes with engineering teams.
- Create clear, actionable reports and dashboards regarding data health for leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with platform teams to optimize data pipelines and maintain high standards of data reliability.
Requirements
- 8+ years of commercial experience in data analysis.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and extensive experience working with large-scale datasets.
- Proven hands-on experience with Databricks.
- Expertise in data quality validation, discrepancy investigation, and managing event-based data streams.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical findings for non-technical stakeholders.
