What you will do
- Learn and apply Infrastructure as Code concepts using tools such as Bicep and Pulumi.
- Support improvements to internal automation tooling that helps engineers deploy, test, and operate Relativity services.
- Help simplify manual workflows by contributing to lightweight automation scripts (Python, Bash, Powershell).
- Assist in updating or extending CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Work on internal tools and services used by developers, gaining exposure to APIs, Python microservices (FastAPI), and automation patterns.
- Participate in standups, planning, retros, and technical discussions within a Scrum team.
Requirements
- Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
- Basic programming experience in Python, C#, or Java.
- Familiarity with Linux or macOS command‑line environments.
- Interest in DevOps engineering, cloud technologies, automation, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Comfortable working in an Agile development environment.
Nice to have
- Prior exposure to Docker or Kubernetes (even via coursework or personal projects).
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Experience writing small automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub workflows.
- Interest in observability, dashboards, or metrics.
