What you will do

  • Lead a team to deliver high-impact outcomes on complex projects, focusing on team performance and execution.
  • Improve and evolve the Retail Classic experience for merchants, covering checkout flows, analytics, and loyalty programs.
  • Translate complex business objectives into clear, actionable solutions, integrating AI and emerging technologies.
  • Develop and communicate holistic design strategies grounded in quantitative and qualitative insights.
  • Guide teams in defining foundational components and evolving the design system to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Provide mentorship, foster a high-performing team culture, oversee project delivery, and manage workload.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of industry experience in a people management role on a Design team.
  • Foundational design-related education (Bachelor of Design, Visual Arts, Architecture, Industrial Design, or Communication).
  • Applied experience within the retail industry with strong service design foundations.
  • Experience with Agile design sprint methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Fluency with product, design, and prototyping tools such as Figma, Google Suite, and Miro.
  • Excellent communication and data visualization skills.
