What you will do

  • Partner with directors and leadership to define and drive the overall multiplayer vision for an unannounced AAA project.
  • Own the design lifecycle of multiplayer features from ideation and prototyping through to final implementation.
  • Lead, hire, and mentor a multidisciplinary multiplayer design team.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to develop tools for multiplayer implementation, including AI, RPG systems, and encounter editors.
  • Create comprehensive design documentation including one-pagers, content briefs, and system outlines.
  • Provide regular feedback across multiplayer features to ensure a cohesive and high-quality player experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience shipping AAA titles in lead design roles.
  • Proven experience leading multiplayer design teams and development.
  • Advanced communication skills and ability to align vision within a team.
  • Strong technical expertise and experience with versatile game development tools.
  • Extensive personal experience as a player with modern games.
