What you will do

  • Develop highly reliable and scalable data pipelines to empower engineers across SpaceX

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, math, physics, or related field, or 2+ years professional software experience
  • 1+ years experience in full stack development, software engineering, data engineering, or data science
  • Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance required
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee per ITAR regulations
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed

Nice to have

  • Experience with Python, C#, Java, Scala, Go or similar languages
  • Experience with big data processing tools like Apache Kafka, Spark, Flink, SQL
  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, HBase, Hive, Delta Lake
  • Experience with data visualization and exploration tools like Grafana, Jupyter Notebooks, PowerBI
  • Some front-end experience with Angular, React, or similar frameworks
  • Good understanding of statistics and machine learning algorithms
