What you will do
- Conduct deep-dive research into payment industry trends, including digital wallets, blockchain, and real-time payments.
- Analyze large datasets to model payment volumes, treasury forecasts, and operational efficiencies.
- Investigate and resolve high-value payment exceptions, fraud cases, and treasury discrepancies with precision.
- Act as the primary relationship manager for banks, PSPs, and payment processors to negotiate terms and ensure service continuity.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Analytics (Post-graduation is an advantage).
- Experience: 1–2 years of proven experience in financial/payments research; freelance research experience in this niche is highly valued.
- Technical Savvy: Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel and data analytics techniques.
- Sound understanding of the payment value chain (ACH, SWIFT, RTP, Cards, Crypto) and global investment markets.
- Exceptional verbal and written English skills for stakeholder interaction and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
