What you will do
- Provide legal support for fintech products including regulatory analysis and implementation advice.
- Advise product, compliance, and marketing teams from design phase through launch.
- Coordinate and manage external legal advisors across Peru and other LATAM jurisdictions.
- Identify legal and regulatory risks, recommending mitigation strategies and process changes.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial and product-related contracts.
- Ensure compliance of marketing materials and user-facing policies with local consumer protection laws.
Requirements
- Full professional working proficiency in English and Spanish required.
- Law degree with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in fintech, IT, or financial services.
- Excellent knowledge of Peruvian laws and regulations regarding fintech and financial services.
- Experience supporting projects involving regulatory approvals or licenses in Peru.
- Proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex contracts and product documentation.
- High level of ownership and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
