What you will do

  • Take charge of specific regions and product groups, ensuring the highest standard of data quality.
  • Identify technology and process improvements to efficiently process data and improve accuracy of seaborne flows.
  • Track market news and developments to extract meaningful patterns and detect new trends.
  • Respond to ad-hoc client requests with rapid analysis.
  • Assist sales and customer success teams in meeting client data needs, and feed insights back into internal systems to improve future responsiveness.

Requirements

  • Circa 2-4 years of experience working with large, disparate and/or unstructured data sets (advanced Excel skills and experience with SQL and Python).
  • Proven experience integrating data and ease with working with databases.
  • Experience working with tools: JIRA, Postman, Tableau, Appsmith, Rundeck, Slack.
  • Willingness to learn, are a team player, quick learner, and able to work within short deadlines across multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work and communicate in an international cross-cultural environment, with a strong focus on providing solutions.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and uncovering answers to complex product development questions.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in shipping and trading, with knowledge of Agriculture dry bulk commodities (grains, oilseeds, fertilizers ect.)
