What you will do

  • Design and execute performance, load, and scalability testing for key Veeam product components
  • Build and maintain enterprise-grade test environments with complex infrastructures
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues
  • Participate in root cause analysis of performance issues reported by support and customers
  • Own and evolve performance test labs including environment setup and monitoring

Requirements

  • 1–2 years experience in performance or load testing or strong practical system performance background
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows and/or Linux systems and system internals (CPU, memory, storage, networking)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • English proficiency for daily communication within international teams
  • Must be located in Czechia as remote work is restricted to this country

Nice to have

  • Experience with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL including performance profiling
  • Scripting, test automation, or infrastructure deployment experience
  • Knowledge of virtualization platforms and cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Experience with Python and infrastructure-as-code tools like Ansible or Terraform
