CD PROJEKT RED is looking for an experienced Senior VFX Artist to join our team working on The Witcher 4, the first game in a brand-new saga.

What you will do

  • Create high-quality real-time visual effects for gameplay, environments, and cinematics.
  • Collaborate with artists, designers, and engineers to shape stunning and performant VFX.
  • Contribute to creative and technical solutions that enhance the game’s storytelling and immersion.
  • Explore new tools, workflows, and techniques to help evolve the future of real-time VFX.
  • Ensure VFX assets meet both artistic standards and technical constraints.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in game development, particularly with Unreal Engine.
  • Strong artistic sensibility, with a sharp eye for detail, composition, and motion.
  • Advanced skills with VFX tools and pipelines, including Niagara.
  • Ability to create complex materials in Unreal Engine.
  • Solid understanding of real-time rendering, lighting, shaders, and PBR.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

  • Experience in procedural content creation in Houdini.
  • Experience with Blueprint scripting in Unreal Engine.
