What you will do

  • Create and implement real-time cinematic sequences directly within the game engine.
  • Collaborate with directors and narrative teams to translate scripts into visual sequences.
  • Edit scenes with a focus on pacing, rhythm, and emotional impact.
  • Block, stage, and refine shots to ensure a consistent cinematic style.
  • Maintain assets and monitor real-time performance to ensure technical stability.
  • Partner with engineering and tech art teams to troubleshoot technical challenges.

Requirements

  • Professional experience creating cinematics for games or similar real-time projects.
  • Proficiency in game engines such as Unreal Engine, including Sequencer and basic Blueprint knowledge.
  • Strong understanding of cinematic fundamentals like framing, editing, and continuity.
  • Professional experience working with motion capture pipelines.
  • Ability to balance creative ambition with technical performance constraints.

Nice to have

  • Experience with physical photography or cinema cameras.
  • Familiarity with real-time lighting workflows.
  • Understanding of performance capture pipelines.
