What you will do
- Create and implement real-time cinematic sequences directly within the game engine.
- Collaborate with directors and narrative teams to translate scripts into visual sequences.
- Edit scenes with a focus on pacing, rhythm, and emotional impact.
- Block, stage, and refine shots to ensure a consistent cinematic style.
- Maintain assets and monitor real-time performance to ensure technical stability.
- Partner with engineering and tech art teams to troubleshoot technical challenges.
Requirements
- Professional experience creating cinematics for games or similar real-time projects.
- Proficiency in game engines such as Unreal Engine, including Sequencer and basic Blueprint knowledge.
- Strong understanding of cinematic fundamentals like framing, editing, and continuity.
- Professional experience working with motion capture pipelines.
- Ability to balance creative ambition with technical performance constraints.
Nice to have
- Experience with physical photography or cinema cameras.
- Familiarity with real-time lighting workflows.
