What you will do
- Define and evolve the EDGE technology stack and security perimeter strategy on AWS.
- Lead a dedicated EDGE engineering team and oversee 50+ external resources.
- Manage engineering efforts for website and app migrations to cloud-native architecture.
- Coordinate IT budgets, vendor management, and internal engineering roadmaps.
- Establish engineering principles, governance frameworks, and performance standards.
- Collaborate with Architecture, Security, and Digital Product teams to ensure system resilience.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- 5+ years of experience in cloud or network-centric engineering.
- 4+ years in engineering leadership or people management.
- Proven track record managing DNS, CDN, WAF, and DDoS mitigation platforms at scale.
- Expertise in AWS services including Route 53, CloudFront, WAF, and Shield.
